Location
Visual Sound Academy takes place at MAM – Media Art Museum, a new cultural space dedicated to media art, audiovisual performance, and digital culture. MAM is home to one of the largest immersive rooms in Europe and, founded by FLxER (Gianluca Del Gobbo & Co), hosts the world’s first permanent immersive venue designed specifically for live audiovisual performance.
In addition to the immersive room, MAM features spaces for exhibitions, installations, workshops, and educational activities, as well as a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history and evolution of media art over the past thirty years.
Located in the heart of Rome at Corso Italia 37, between MACRO and the Borghese Gallery, MAM is a permanent hybrid space created to foster encounters between art, technology, and community. It provides a natural home for educational programs, residencies, and international gatherings, offering an environment built around the same values that have driven experimental media arts for decades.
